Naya Rivera

Naya Rivera's body was found on July 13 after she disappeared while boating on Lake Piru in Ventura County, California, with her 4-year-old son, Josey Hollis Dorsey. She was 33 years old. The boy was found alone on the rented pontoon and told investigators that he and his mother were swimming together, but she never returned to the boat. Rivera was known for playing cheerleader Santana Lopez on all six seasons of "Glee." The California native got her start in Hollywood at a very young age, playing Hillary Winson on the television sitcom "The Royal Family." She later had small roles in such television hits as Family Matters, Baywatch and Even Stevens. After Glee concluded in 2015, Rivera released the single "Sorry" with her ex-fiancé Big Sean. He made his feature film debut in At the Devil's Door in 2014. Most recently, he starred in “Step Up: High Water,” a YouTube Premium series based on the popular Step Up film franchise. Rivera also released his memoir, “Sorry Not Sorry: Dreams , Mistakes, and Growing Up”, in 2016.
