The actress seems to be the one who had the last laugh in the love triangle that she formed with her ex-husband Brad Pitt.
Jennifer Aniston, 50, was devastated when her marriage to Hollywood star Brad Pitt broke down over Angelina Jolie. However, now after “Brangelina” shipwrecked in a stormy breakup, the leading lady of “F R I E N D S” seems to feel vindicated for all the pain she felt because of the two of them.
“Who would have thought that Jen would look better than Angelina Jolie? That shows you in life that it's not how you start, but how you finish. I'm very happy for her," a source close to the actress told journalist Ian Halperin for her book "Friends With Benefits."
The aforementioned publication cites 350 sources close to Jennifer Aniston, who confirmed that the actress said that she would never speak to Angelina Jolie again.
"It's been very difficult for Jen, very difficult," the author said. "No one expects her to want to be in the same room as Jolie. It would be so awkward. Angelina stole the man from her."
The only time the two actresses spoke was reported by Jennifer Aniston herself in an extensive interview in October 2016.
"I was in the Friends studio and I stopped by and introduced myself," recalls Aniston. "I said, 'Brad is so excited to be working with you. I hope you guys have a great time.' That was it."
Another sore point for Jennifer Aniston was the issue of children. She and Brad Pitt had planned to have children when she will finish "F R I E N D S."
But that never happened, because the year after the series ended, in 2005, Brad Pitt proposed a divorce, and a few months later, in an act of insensitivity, the actor posed with Angelina surrounded by numerous blonde babies for a photo shoot for the w magazine
When the relationship between Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt was formalized, he quickly became the father of six children: Maddox, Pax, Zahara, Shiloh, and the twins Vivienne and Knox, the latter three, biological children of both.
“Also (Angelina) gave him many children while Jen and Brad struggled to have them. I don't think Jen will open the door to Angelina again, under any circumstances," the source quoted on "Friends With Benefits" said.
