The young woman had already participated in other films and series such as You and The Fallout: the life after her, but this character led her to stardom because her work was majestic.
The 20-year-old currently doesn't have a partner, or at least she hasn't made it public, but she did reveal that when she was younger she fell in love with an older man.
Such was the crush that Jenna herself says that she became "obsessed" with him, and she came to do many crazy things to meet him.

Jenna Ortega confessed in an interview that she fell in love with a man 40 years older, and he is someone well known, it is nothing more and nothing less than Barack Obama.
"When I was young I fell in love with Barack Obama, I was obsessed with him, I watched him on television with eyes of love," the successful young woman confessed.
The crush on her was so great that she began to write him letters, but since she never received a response from the former president, she did something more drastic.
And it is that Jenna wrote to Oprah too, because she knew that they were friends of hers, and she wanted the presenter to help her.
"I wrote letters to Oprah because she would see in the magazines that they were friends and she was obsessed, and she would say please help me meet Barack," Jenna said.
However, she never heard back from either of them and she still dreams of meeting Barack Obama, even though she's not as obsessed with him anymore.
We've all come to do crazy things for love, especially when it's something platonic, so many of us feel identified with Jenna's confession.
