1. Mel Gibson is a racist and hit his wife
Mel Gibson was one of the most respected figures in Hollywood until 2006 when he was arrested for driving while intoxicated. The worst thing was that during the arrest, the actor released several racist insults that were caught on video.
It did not stop there. In 2009, the actor divorced his wife after 29 years of marriage, to start a relationship with the model Oksana Grigorieva. That same year, the actor's new partner denounced him for hitting her and breaking a tooth, for which Gibson pleaded guilty before a judge.
Ten years after his scandalous racist arrest, the actor was nominated for an Oscar for his directing work on Hacksaw Ridge.
2. Jon Hamm set a man on fire
We all did crazy things in college, but Jon Hamm blew it off. In 1991 he was sued by a student, who accused the actor and several members of the University of Texas Sigma Nu fraternity of engaging in violent hazing.
Among other things, the plaintiff accuses the Mad Men star of brutally beating him and setting his pants on fire. At that time, the actor was found guilty and sentenced to provisional release.
3. Roman Polanski raped a girl
Although the renowned director has been accused on several occasions of S- abuse, the case that occurred in 1977 continues to be the most notorious. On that occasion, Polanzki invited Samantha Gailey, who was 13 years old, to pose for him. The encounter ended in a rape by the director.
Gailey sued the filmmaker, and Polanski pleaded guilty to at least one of the six charges against her. However, while the terms of his sentence were being set, the director fled to Europe.
Polanski has never denied the rape or publicly apologized to his victim.
4. Gerard Depardieu prostitutes himself and robs graves
The idol of French cinema confessed in his autobiography that he had practiced prostitution when he was a teenager to steal his clients. But the most detail is that he alternated this "job" with looting jewelry and valuables from recently deceased people, desecrating their graves.
Nor can we forget the 2011 incident, in which he urinated in the middle of an airplane aisle, or his constant fights with reporters. Still, the actor has at least four projects coming out next year.
5. Steven Tyler adopted a teenager to have S- with her
Julia Holcomb was a 16-year-old teenager who met the Aerosmith frontman backstage at one of his concerts. Julia's mother gave custody of the girl to Steven Tyler (for unexplained reasons) and he began an S- relationship with her minor. But this is not all…
The singer got the minor pregnant on purpose, proposed to her, then regretted it, and finally asked her to have an abortion. Julia describes that during the abortion, Steven was snorting cocaine. The relationship ended shortly after and the rocker continues to give concerts as if nothing had happened.
