The British press is already blaming Meghan for the desertion and they affirm that it was not a matter of money, since the salary is much higher than the average for this type of work: they hired her for USD 80,000 a year, about 6,700 per month, well above the 1,800 that is usually paid in England for that task.
Also, in the UK, it is considered a great honor to work for Queen Elizabeth II and the entire royal crown, so this type of resignation is always surprising.
The decision of the nanny also puts the parade of resignations in the environment of the duchess back in the center which feeds her reputation for not being tolerant of her. The nanny, in fact, is the fourth person from her staff to abandon her: she was first a bodyguard for the couple, after two of her personal assistants.
British tabloids suggest that Markle's treatment of her staff members prompts all of these resignations. And, in addition, there is no shortage of those who make a big difference between Markle's manners with those of Kate Middleton, who was always extremely careful with her behavior.
Archie, seventh in line to the British throne and eighth great-grandchild of Queen Elizabeth II, was born at 5:26 a.m. local time on May 6, weighing 7 pounds 3 ounces (3. 26 kilos).
