The film about the life of Marilyn Monroe has caused many controversies
One of the calls to be the movie of the year, Blonde, released a few months ago on the Netflix platform is causing a lot of controversies mainly due to certain scenes where it seems that the role of the woman is reduced to that of an object. This has been shown to the popular actress Marilyn Monroe whose role is played by the Spanish actress Ana de Armas.
Apparently, it all starts with the scenes of high S- content that is in the film. In one of them, the one with the most depth appears Ana de Armas giving fellatio to the President of the United States. The people who worked on the film have justified that these scenes are shown for obvious reasons and that is that they want to highlight the abuses that women had to face at that time, including the famous Marilyn Monroe.
Many feminist groups did not like the idea at all and dismissed the film as S- and added that women are objectified in it. In addition, many critics point out that the film leaves Marilyn in a very bad place, if she were alive, would not have authorized the recording of this film, at least using her life. And it is that although Monroe is seen as one of the most sensual women in cinema history, that is not why everything is worth it.
Biographers tell anecdotes about Monroe that appear in the film, although many criticize that they have chosen to put only facts in which the American actress was denigrated, to say the least.
