Billie Eilish - "Every time I see him I just want to scream"

If a few days ago we told you how much her collaboration with Rosalia was succeeding, now Billie Eilish has had a hard time after trying to solve something that lately disturbed her daily life. According to The Blast, the interpreter of "Therefore I Am" would be the victim of harassment by a 23-year-old man. The alleged stalker, whose identity has not been revealed, would have been camped out in front of her family home since August 2020, a few meters from her door.

In documents collected by the publication, Eilish would have confirmed the fear and anxiety caused by this situation and would have requested a restraining order. "I fear for my safety, I fear for the safety of my family, and I fear losing my sense of peace and quiet and security in my home and personal space as a result of the repeated instances of harassment." This is how Billie began her statement before the court. Some words are already overwhelming, but they are only the beginning of a report full of details regarding what happened.

"For almost six months, an individual who has identified himself as [the man] has harassed and threatened me while I was camping across the street from my family's home." An action that would have been accompanied by "disturbing and threatening" letters whose objective would be to the singer. According to the site, some of the shipments would contain messages such as "You know that soon the water will rise, and you may die... You will die. Why are you dying?"

"Every time I drive home, I am filled with anxiety and fear knowing that he is there waiting for me. And he usually is," she said in the complaint. "I no longer feel safe leaving my house and exercising in my neighborhood, because he could try to get close and hurt me. Every time I see him I just want to scream" concluded the "Bad Guy" interpreter.

"I've always liked cameras. I loved being in front of her in the documentary because I've always liked watching videos of myself. I remember when I was 10 years old saying: "Mom, can I watch home movies?", she confessed amused. Some statements that contrast with the obvious obstacle he had to face when the pressure took its toll on his health: "When I recorded When We All Fall Asleep I realized that some parts were great, but I was not in a great place mentally", indicates the publication. From that moment, the artist affirmed that she began to see a therapist. A confession that only enhances her figure in the face of the normalization of this type of problem.

After surprising the release of "You're Going to forget forget" with Rosalía, Billie Eilish is aware of the huge number of followers who are looking forward to her return to the stage. For now, we can satisfy our desire for music thanks to The World's a Little Burry, the documentary that will show her musical career from the beginning. However, some already have May 11 marked on their calendars. The reason? The day we get to know a little more about Billie through her first autobiographical book.

"I made a photo book of my life from childhood and recorded an audiobook with stories to accompany some of the images," she confessed on her official Instagram account. Quite an event that fully marks the beginning of this year for the Californian and that may possibly be the one chosen to see how the album she has been working on for so long finally comes to light.
