Jennifer Anniston knows the key to dyeing your roots at home without mistakes

It has been her colorist who was in charge of revealing the keys to touch up without doing any damage

In recent weeks, beauty plans have been increasing, bringing out our most professional version within different tasks. We finally have time to learn how to put on makeup like professionals thanks to the tutorials from some celebrities and beauty gurus, just as we have learned (once and for all) how we can cut our bangs without cutting hair in the middle. But, there is another hair drama that is haunting many, and that they do not know how to solve on their own: the roots.

That moment when your natural color starts to come out and you can't go to your trusted beauty salon, and you only have to trust your own aesthetic skills. That, honestly, you don't trust much. And, if there is a celebrity that we envy her long hair, it is Jennifer Aniston. The actress always knows the perfect tricks to keep her hair shiny and healthy and to get just the color she was looking for. His secret from her? The colorist Michael Canale is one of the best-known in Hollywood.

The color expert has confessed to the Page Six portal the keys that he gives to all the celebrities to solve this problem during the quarantine. For them, he has exact formulas so they can do their touch-ups and get the exact color. But how do those of us who don't have that magic formula do it? Michael also has the answer.

"Buy the boxed dyes sold in supermarkets and use a semi-permanent formula until salons reopen. Forget gray and play with mahogany highlights, have fun knowing it's not permanent. And then your trusted professionals can continue where they left it," he advises.

And if you don't know what exact color matches your foundation, she recommends opting for a natural-colored base or two shades below the root. The reason is that this type of coloring takes it differently. For example, if you normally wear brown, choose a light blonde.

As for its care, the colorist advises "Add a few drops of argan oil to your usual conditioner" to make it softer and silkier.
