"Buy the boxed dyes sold in supermarkets and use a semi-permanent formula until salons reopen. Forget gray and play with mahogany highlights, have fun knowing it's not permanent. And then your trusted professionals can continue where they left it," he advises.
And if you don't know what exact color matches your foundation, she recommends opting for a natural-colored base or two shades below the root. The reason is that this type of coloring takes it differently. For example, if you normally wear brown, choose a light blonde.
As for its care, the colorist advises "Add a few drops of argan oil to your usual conditioner" to make it softer and silkier.
