The "Hunger Games" actress revealed an episode in which she thought she couldn't save herself from her during an engine failure on a flight.
Jennifer Lawrence recently opened up about the terrifying near-death experience she encountered in which she feared she would "never come back alive" after her private flight suffered a double engine failure.
She there she began by saying: "My skeleton was all that was left on the seat" and she felt that she "deserved to die".
The flight itself was en route to New York City from Louise villa in 2017, but the pilot was forced to make an emergency landing in Buffalo once the plane suffered a twin-engine failure.
Lawrence was just one of two people on board that flight and she went on to tell the store that I felt guilty."
“Everyone was going to be so bummed out. And oh, gosh, [my dog] Pippi was on my lap, that was the worst part. Here's this little thing that didn't ask to be a part of any of this."
“I started to pray. Not the specific God I grew up with because he was terrifying and a very judgmental guy. But I thought, oh my gosh, maybe we'll survive this? I will be a victim of burns, this will be painful, but maybe we will live.
The emergency landing at the time was quite 'nervous' and once she was unharmed, Lawrence boarded another plane "anesthetized thanks to a very large pill and several mini bottles of rum".
She “made me much weaker”, after all, “what doesn't kill you makes you stronger. Flying is horrible and I have to do it all the time."
