Kim Basinger has spoken openly for the first time about her famous divorce from Alec Baldwin
The Oscar-winning actress appeared in an interview in which she revealed never-before-heard details about her "heavy and loud" divorce from Baldwin.
The two were married from 1993 to 2022 and have a 26-year-old daughter named Ireland.
During the interview, Kim revealed that Ireland has had "a complicated life," and that she suffered a lot during her divorce, as she and Alec never saw eye to eye.
"Uh, no. No… Alec is funny,” Kim recounted with a laugh. “We're all good now and we get along or whatever. But Alec is a difficult person."
She added that “I mean, by God. We've had our challenges and I don't think Alex was mentally or emotionally open to such a talk. Alec, it operates in a very different way in his life.”
Ireland, who also appeared on the show with her mother, also mentioned that her father “suffers with a lot of A- and is someone who grew up in a family that suppressed mental health issues. They told him that he was weak because he felt bad.
