Learn about Marilyn Monroe's 'secret' les---n love affairs

In the 1950s (and still today) everyone was talking about Marilyn Monroe who had had affairs with John F. Kennedy, Frank Sinatra, and even Elvis, among many others.

There were people like the French actress Brigitte Bardot who, in her autobiography, confessed to having been seduced by Monroe when they met in a bathroom. Likewise, director Jean Negulesco stated that, during the filming of Marry a Millionaire, the actress had told him that she "never in her life had had an S- with a man."

After her death she died in 1962, it took four decades for rumors of her S- to surface again. Only, this time, people were willing to testify to her. Who gathered all these stories was the biographer Tony Jerris, who 2012 published the book Marilyn Monroe: My Little Secret Told by Jane Lawrence.

In this book, Jerris claims that Monroe went on to have L- affairs or encounters with a long list of celebrities including Marlene Dietrich, Judy Garland, Greta Garbo, and even Jaqueline Kennedy. Despite this, one of her most shocking stories is about the encounter she had with Jane Lawrence, the president of her fan club. Tony Jerris interviewed this girl and she told him how difficult it had been to accept her H-S and how Monroe helped her to accept herself.

When she was 16 years old, Lawrence met her idol and, apparently, the spark arose between them from the first moment. The actress was 29 years old when she first saw Lawrence. However, this did not stop her from entangling with her. Without fear or reservation, Jane told Jerris about her first time with Monroe.

"I remember our first meeting like a dream. My heart began to pound frantically as he brushed against my thighs. Then she approached my lips and gave me a long kiss. Marilyn was a free spirit, an open, cheerful person without social prejudices, who was not afraid of her S- ".

What other women fell victim to Monroe's charms?

According to testimonies collected by Jerris, Marilyn Monroe had L- affairs and encounters with more than a dozen stars. However, few have dared to tell what it felt like to be with the artist. One of them was her personal coach, Natasha Lytess, whom Monroe fired in 1954 to hire Paula Strasberg. Shortly before dying of cancer in 1964, Natasha opened up about her relationship with the actress.

"The truth is that my life and my feelings were in her hands. I was the eldest, the teacher, but she knew the depth of my attachment and she exploited those feelings as only a beautiful and young person can."

One of the most famous actresses with whom Marilyn had passionate encounters was Elizabeth Taylor. The two Hollywood icons had a strong rivalry, however, in 1971 they met at a Frank Sinatra concert at the Sands Hotel, in Las Vegas. According to the Daily Mail, Elizabeth wrote about that night in her personal diary.

"His touch of hers was electric. She wanted to see how far that bitch could go, but she had to do all the work."

Apparently, Marilyn enjoyed getting involved with her rivals and with women whose personalities clashed with hers. This was what happened to the actress Joan Crawford. According to the National Enquirer, Monroe discussed her encounters with Crawford with her psychologist, Ralph Greenson. He recorded every session he had with the star, and according to her recordings, Marilyn had ambivalent feelings about her relationship with Joan.

“We went to Joan's room. Crawford had a massive orgasm and screamed maniacally. The next time I met her she wanted another round, but I turned her down."

According to Greenson, Marilyn refused to have an affair with Crawford because she was cruel and highly competitive with other women. When Monroe rejected Joan, this actress bore a resentment that did not diminish for the rest of Marilyn's life.

As you can see, Monroe was a heartthrob for both males and females. But, even more important, this star decided to be a free woman. She didn't care about the gossip and neither did the labels with which she could point it out. She lived doing what she wanted until her death and that is something that not many actresses of the 50s could achieve.
