The Australian actress spoke about her experience in 'Babylon', a film that reflects the wild side of Hollywood.
The movie 'Babylon', starring Brad Pitt, portrays the dark side of 'old Hollywood' during the transition from silent movies to talkies. The film touches on characteristic aspects of the industry at that time, such as drugs and parties.
The talented Australian actress Margot Robbie commented on her experience in those scenes in which she had to appear consuming or sniffing drugs.
There are not a few moments in which the characters in 'Babylon' take drugs, starting with Nellie LaRoy herself, who is played by Margot Robbie. For the peace of mind of many, the "drug" is false and the production team looks for the best possible alternatives.
According to the 42-year-old woman, for drug scenes, it is usual to use vitamin B powder or laxative powder for babies. Similarly, icing sugar is used if the scene calls for the drug not to be ingested.
The most difficult thing for Margot Robbie, without a doubt, has to do with snorting those fake drugs. "It's not nice," says the Australian.

But not for everything there, fake tobacco is also used in those scenes in which the actors and actresses must smoke. That was another experience with unpleasant memories for Robbie, as she ended up with a hoarse voice from inhaling the smoke so much.
"On set, we have cigarettes without nicotine. They are herbal cigarettes, but they are horrible and they taste foul," confirmed the talented actress.
Despite the great efforts made by actors and actresses to best recreate the reality of Hollywood many years ago, the response from the public in movie theaters has not been entirely good. The tape has only obtained 15 million dollars in the collection in the rest of the world and 30 million in total, including the United States. The budget for the film was 78 million dollars.
