Margot Robbie reveals which music icon she'd like to play in a biopic

The actress of "The Wolf of Wallstreet" confessed which artist she would love to represent on the screen. In an interview, for her new classic Hollywood film 'Babylon', Robbie was asked which musician she would play in a potential biopic.

To which she enthusiastically replied that she would love to play Fleetwood Mac singer Stevie Nicks. "Stevie Nicks would be fun, I think everyone has been trying to do a Janis Joplin movie for a long time too," Robbie replied.

Likewise, her co-star, Diego Calva, proposed another name for a bibliographic film «Can you imagine a Frank Zappa biopic? I don't know if I'm the type, but it would be a great movie. I would have to grow a mustache," said the actor.

Both the members of Fleetwood Mac and Nicks have given up their rights to a film about them. However, in 2011 it was speculated that the actress Lindsay Lohan would play the artist, to which Nicks denied the rumor.

Babylon

The new feature film "Babylon" by the same director of the acclaimed films La La Land and Whiplash, Damien Chazelle, portrays the decline of Hollywood's opulent 1920s era with the transition from silent to talkies.

The story follows the characters Nellie LaRoy (Margot Robbie) and Manny Torres (Diego Calva), two dreamers who want to be part of the silent film stars of Holywood. However, their dreams will come true, but with changes in their lives with addictions, betrayals, and excesses.

The cast includes stars like Brad Pitt, Tobey Maguire, and Jean Smart, among others.

The French-American director, Damien Chazelle, is known for his great films. In 2014 he was nominated for an Oscar for the category "Best Adapted Screenplay" with Whiplash. But his directorial recognition came with the success of La La Land in 2016, which was nominated for 14 Academy Awards, in which he won six statuettes. Among them, in the "Best Director" category, which made him the youngest person to win the award at 32 years of age.
