Just a few months after the meeting, Meghan and Harry managed so that their meetings were not captured by the press.
Prince Harry continues to be the subject of conversation after his memoir "Spare" was finally published worldwide, in which he talks about various events in his life since the tragic death of his mother, Princess Diana; his difficult adolescence; conflicts with his father and his brother William; as well as his relationship with Meghan Markle until he departs from royalty.
About the details of his stage of falling in love with Meghan Markle, in 2016, Prince Harry describes in his book the moment of their first meeting in a hotel, when both had not made their relationship public and were careful of the public eye.
In his story, the Duke of Sussex mentions the moment in which he and Meghan met again in London, in 2016, after several weeks of not seeing each other.
The appointment was at Soho House, just on the day of the death anniversary of Princess Diana, on August 31. Before meeting her, Meghan wrote to him telling him that when she arrived at the place she would meet a friend named Vanessa, who would be in charge of taking him to her room.
"He pushed me inside and thanked her friend in one fluid motion, then quickly closed the door before anyone saw him," she explained.
“I mean we put a 'Do Not Disturb' sign on the door. But I don't think there was time,” he added.
The next morning when the hotel service arrived, he hid under the sheets without the waiter noticing.
"He didn't notice the prince-shaped bulge under the duvet," Harry wrote. “He talked and talked, and he filled her in on the latest, while I, in my duvet cave, was starting to run out of air,” he noted.
