Michelle Williams in an episode of Home Improvement
In Latin America Home Improvement was called Improving the House. It was a sitcom starring Tim Allen that ran for eight seasons and 204 episodes. It told the story of Tim Taylor and his family who was going through household problems with tools. Told like this it seems more boring than saying "a series about nothing", but the truth is that it was indeed very funny.
The protagonist had two sons and a daughter. That is where Michelle Williams enters the scene. No, she was not Taylor's daughter nor did she appear much, but in one episode (Wilson's Girlfriend, airing May 23, 1995), Michelle played a friend of Brad, her eldest son.
Ben Affleck in Buffy the Vampire Slayer
Series of seven seasons and 144 episodes starring Sarah Michelle Gellar in the role of Buffy Summers, a girl who is dedicated to hunting vampires. It was created in '97 and lasted until 2003. It was a super successful series that was seen a lot in Argentina. What is not remembered so much is a very minor role by actor Ben Affleck.
His participation was not, however, in an episode of the series but in the film that was made, with the same story and protagonists. Affleck's role? The #10 player on a basketball team.
Tom Hardy and his Band of Brothers
War movies have been the debut space for many actors. Mainly because a large cast is required, many characters and it is the ideal occasion to make a place for yourself. Anyone will be able to remember - or not - that Johnny Deep had an almost imperceptible role in Squad when nobody knew him, and then it was Johnny Deep.
The cases are many. Today we will remember one who is in a completely different position than when he played this role. This is Tom Hardy, who in 2001 had a minor role in the Band of Brothers series, produced by Steven Spielberg and Tom Hanks. The miniseries tells the vicissitudes of the Easy Company in World War II. Hardy barely appears in a few scenes. Today, at 43 years old, he has participated in almost 50 productions, broke it in Peaky Blinders, and is one of the most sought after sought-after actors in Hollywood.
Rachel Brosnahan in an episode of Gossip Girl
We all love the Marvelous Mrs. Maisel (The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel), the protagonist of the Amazon Prime series of the same name. For those who haven't seen it, she tells the story of a comedian in New York in the sixties, in which it was not usual for women to dedicate themselves to humor. The protagonist of it is Rachel Brosnahan, winner of the Golden Globe for Best Actress precisely for this series.
But much earlier, in 2010, she appeared in an episode of Gossip Girl. Exactly in the chapter called "It's a Dad, Dad, Dad, Dad World", from the fourth season. Her role was also minor, so much so that in her file she is presented as "the girl".
Jennifer Lawrence in the series Monk
The series aired between 2002 and 2009. It is a mix of crime mystery with comedy. Its protagonist -Adrian Monk, played by Tony Shalhoub- is a former San Francisco police officer who works as a private consultant, and suffers from obsessive-compulsive disorder. In any case, the plot is the least of this story. The thing is that in an episode of the fifth season (“Mr. Monk and the Big Game”, aired in 2006), Jennifer Lawrence appears in the role of a team mascot.
She enters the university building dressed in a dog costume and when she removes her mask, we notice that it is her. She is not in a great role but there is the file, attesting that she in her career did everything.
