These tapes are full of drama, history, tension, romance, and adventure about American patriotism and a date as significant as independence.
1. FORREST GUMP
The movie "Forrest Gump" (1994) is one of the pride of the United States that, although it is not set on the 4th of July, it does have the American feeling, to the point of being recognized as a cultural and historical piece by the US Library of Congress. The film, starring Tom Hanks, won numerous awards and broke the box office at the time. A classic that until now continues to be seen not only in the US but all over the world.
2. TOP GUN
"Top Gun" (1986) is a film directed by Tony Scott and starring Tom Cruise and Kelly McGillis. It focuses on an American aviator in an epic story that exalted Americans in the 80s. In addition, the film was the consolidation of Cruise as a figure in the film world.
3. INDEPENDENCE DAY
Shortly after the 4th of July, some alien ships arrive on Earth to conquer humanity. That is the main conflict of "Independence Day" (1996), a film so patriotic for the United States because the outcome of the film takes place on that historic date. United States soldiers save the world, in one of the highest-grossing films of all time.

4. THE PATRIOT
The tape "The Patriot" (2000) tells the story of veteran Colonel Benjamin Martin, who joins the American War of Independence, knowing that he would take great risks and losses, as seen in the course of history. The film starred Mel Gibson and Heath Ledger.
5. BORN ON THE FOURTH OF JULY
In "Born on the Fourth of July" (1989), the story of Ron Kovic is told, who was born on that date and enlisted in the United States Army to attend the Vietnam War. After abuse, murder, and other bad decisions, the soldier returns to his country wounded and unable to walk. He suffers the consequences of the war and his life changes radically.
