Gwyneth Paltrow opens up about dating Brad Pitt and Ben Affleck
Actress Gwyneth Paltrow opened up about her relationships with actors Brad Pitt and Ben Affleck and responded when asked which of the two was better in bed. The 50-year-old celebrity made a series of comparisons between the two ex-boyfriends in participation in the podcast ‘Call Her Daddy’, by presenter Alex Cooper.
Paltrow started dating Pitt in 1994. The two became engaged, but broke up in 1997, on her initiative. At the time, she considered herself “too young” to marry. Soon after, she began a three-year relationship with Affleck.
Asked by Alex Cooper which of the two she considered better in bed, Pitt or Affleck, Paltrow replied: "That's hard as hell. Because Brad was the greatest love of my life at the time. And Ben was technically excellent.”
Then she hesitated, amidst laughter, "I can't believe my daughter is listening to me."
Then Cooper eased the bar of his interviewee and asked which of them, Pitt or Affleck, Paltrow considered a better actor: “Both are very talented. And Ben is a great writer and director. But I think in terms of acting, [I choose] Brad. For choosing all the different roles he's played."
Then Cooper and Paltrow launched into a series of quick Q&As about Ben Affleck and Brad Pitt. “Which of the two is more stylish?”. “Probably Brad,” replied the actress. “Who was more romantic?”. “Brad”. “Who made you laugh the most?”. “Ben”. “Who did you fight the most?”. “Ben”.
“Who cared more about appearance?”. "I am not sure. I don't think either of them was that vain. I'm not attracted to guys who are looking in the mirror all the time. Although Ben has a pocket mirror, I think it's just for fun." “Which one kissed better?”. "The two were great kissers."
Winner of the Oscar for best actress in 1999, for 'Shakespeare in Love (1998), Paltrow was married between 2003 and 2016 to musician Chris Martin, the father of her two children. She has been married since 1998 to TV producer Brad Falchuk.
