The actress Hilary Duff is very sincere and close on her social networks and she always shares details about her children, her dinners, or her rhythm of life.
Now the protagonist of 'How I Met Your Father' has made a confession, and that is that she has followed the 'controversial' diet of Gwyneth Paltrow.
Hilary Duff has been in front of the cameras all her life and the actress has managed to be one of the few child stars of the 90s who has stayed away from controversy and has continued with her career.
However, growing up so young at the center of media pressure and '90s beauty standards was not an easy time, and being so constantly exposed ended up giving her an eating disorder that she battled years ago.
But Hilary is now 35 years old in her prime. She is happily married to Matthew Koma, with whom she has had her daughters Banks and Mae James, and enjoying her family life as well with her son Luca from her previous relationship.
And in terms of work, she is also in a very special moment as the protagonist of 'How I Met Your Father', the spin-off of 'How I Met Your Mother' which is already in its second season and is gaining more and more followers.
She is also finally in a "good place" with her body, and that is that she recently posed without clothes on the cover of the magazine 'Women's Health' and confessed how much it had cost her to reach that point of acceptance and to have discovered her best routine fitness.
Now, however, Hilary has made a confession on the 'Lipstick on the Rim' podcast that she too follows some dubious dieting tactics, much like Gwyneth Paltrow's.
The actress admits that she wakes up "very hungry" and tries to avoid eating.
"Sometimes I try... you know, Gwyneth has already had problems for saying this, but sometimes I try to just drink coffee in the morning and starve myself," she admits, alluding to the huge controversy that surrounded Gwyneth when she revealed her "starvation diet" as they called it online, where she barely ate anything after intermittent fasting and promoted "a glass of broth" as good food.
However, Duff clarifies that she also consumes "a lot of calories" when she cooks her children's meals.
"If we're being honest, yeah, I ended up having a chicken nugget in the morning while I'm making lunches and there's one left over. She goes through the hatch!" she jokes. She also explains some of the dishes she makes the most like "super healthy" cauliflower chips or vegan egg, avocado, and sausage salads. But she also loves mushrooms as her "weakness".
The actress assures that she loves to cook, "but right now my children are a bit stupid and everyone eats what they want at home ... but I miss it." In addition, Hilary assures that she loves to drink and comments between laughs that she has sometimes drunk tequila at times that she should not: "I feel a little cruel saying this but I drink tequila while I help my children with their homework."
