Ben was technically excellent, said the Hollywood actress about Jennifer Lopez's husband
Singer Jennifer Lopez has spoken out in public for the first time following actress Gwyneth Paltrow's recent comments on the merits of actor Ben Affleck in bed. However, instead of addressing the praise made by the Hollywood celebrity to her husband, the 53-year-old artist praised her partner's attributes as a father.
Paltrow exposed some of her memories of her S- life with Affleck in her participation in the podcast 'Call Her Daddy', by presenter Alex Cooper. The two had a brief relationship in the late 1990s. The show's hostess asked the guest to compare Affleck's S- abilities with those of Brad Pitt, also Paltrow's ex.
The actress stated, “This is hard as hell. Because Brad was the greatest love of my life at the time. And Ben was technically excellent.” Later, when asked which of the two was a better kisser, she said: "They were both great kissers."
Lopez's first public speech after Paltrow's controversial interview took place on 'The View'. She didn't comment on her husband's ex's lines and focused on his parenting skills.
Lopez and Affleck got engaged in 2002 and broke up in 2004. They got back together 20 years later and exchanged rings in 2022. The singer has two children, Max and Emme (15 years old), from her marriage to musician Marc Anthony, between 2011 and 2014 Affleck already has Violet (17 years old), Seraphina (14 years old), and Samuel (11 years old), from his marriage to actress Jennifer Garner, between 2005 and 2018.
Jennifer Lopez said she was thrilled to see how Ben takes care of his three children and her two.
“He's a wonderful father,” said Lopez. “I get teary-eyed. He really is the best dad I've ever seen. He is very involved, he sometimes teaches me how to interact with the children”.
She concluded on the subject by saying: “He is very attentive, he is a brilliant guy, he knows so much and you can see that he has read everything he could about children, he is extremely applied and present. He is everything you could ask for in a father, he is a present and loving father who cares and watches out for you every day. That's how he is."
Lopez however was emphatic in admitting that she would immediately abandon her husband in case of betrayal. She exposed her position on 'The View', during a conversation about the recent scandal starring actor Tom Sandoval. He was spotted cheating on his girlfriend, actress Ariana Madix, with also actress Raquel Leviss, a colleague of both in the series 'Vanderpump Rules'.
“I think it would just go away,” Lopez said when asked how she would react if she fell victim to a similar situation. One of the presenters of ‘The View’, actress Whoopi Goldberg agreed with the production’s guest line: “Why waste time?”. Lopez then deepened his thinking: “You already know everything you need to know. What else do you need to know?".
