Keanu Reeves, in addition to mastering martial arts in 'John Wick' and being able to awaken from 'The Matrix', has a talent that many were unaware of. And it is that the actor is also a musician and now he has returned to play with his band after 20 years.
Few know the musical side of Keanu Reeves, but it turns out that the actor was a bassist in a band called 'Dogstar' between 1991 and 2002. With his grunge style, 'Dogstar' managed to be popular in the United States as the career of the actor took off, and even had the band Weezer as the opening act.
The group published their first album in 1996, 'Our Little Visonary', and in 2000 their second and last album to date with the title 'Happy Ending'.
The grunge band gets back together 23 years later. 'Dogstar' has shared a post on Instagram where we can see the band members in black and white with a caption in which they comment: "Last installation on the roof in Lincoln Heights for the @dogstarband photo shoot. Exciting news coming soon. Thank you for being so patient."
Last year they already announced the return of the group on their account, where throughout these months they have been sharing updates on the project and their work in the recording studio.
At the end of 2022, a few were able to attend the first concert back that the band has done. A private concert "for the amazing people who made our new album possible."
After seeing him again clad in his leather suit and sunglasses in 'The Matrix Resurrections in 2021, Keanu has become nostalgic again and now we can also once again enjoy his musical abilities playing the bass.
It seems that Reeves will combine his musical side with his acting side. Last March the fourth installment of 'John Wick' was released and the actor already has new projects on the way: he will join and star in 'Outcome', the new film for Apple Studios that Jonah Hill will write and direct.
