The actress has said that she regrets having turned down a role in 'X-Men'.
At the beginning of the 2000s, the first installment of what would ultimately be the madness of superhero movies arrived in theaters. 'X-Men' landed on the big screen starting something much bigger than you imagine. But, as usual in this type of project, many are the actors who stayed on the way to appear in the film, although others may simply have been wrong.
Rachael Leigh Cook, who was the star of the popular film 'Someone Like You', made a terrible mistake when she was presented with the 'X-Men' project. According to the magazine, she was offered the role of Rogue for that first film and she ended up rejecting the proposal, thus leaving Anna Paquin as that character.
Instead of being Rogue herself in this blockbuster, the actress decided to continue her career in the world of acting with more secondary roles, moving away from the big screen. Of course, she says that she regrets having rejected this role: "As soon as I saw the posters of the film, I knew that she had made a serious mistake."
Rachael Leigh Cook remembers Paul Walker
On the occasion of the premiere of 'Someone like him' ('He's All That') the protagonists of that original version from the late 90s have come together to bring us this new version with some changes. But unfortunately, they couldn't have been all of them since Paul Walker was one of the actors in 'Someone Like You.
Many colleagues pay tribute to Paul Walker from the 'Fast and Furious' family, but Walker's relevance in the world of cinema does not only stop there. And from the cast of 'Someone like him' they don't forget him either. Rachael Leigh Cook, who was the protagonist, remembers him with these words: "I remember how hard it was for me when I found out about Paul's death because you always think that there will be."
And he ends by explaining: "This is the cheesiest thing I've ever said, but you always think there will be time to remember with your people, the way I'm doing with you now or the way I can be with Matt."
