The star will be back on the big screen as climber Gabe Walker in the new version of 'Risco Total'
Sylvester Stallone fans can add one more project to their list of movies to watch. The actor will star in the reboot of one of his great hits of the 1990s, 'Total Risk' (1993), 30 years after the release of the first film. This new version promises to bring the essence of the original with even more dangerous scenes.
The 'Rambo' star will reprise the role of mountaineer Gabe Walker, who is forced by a group of criminals to search for suitcases full of money that was lost in the Rocky Mountains of Colorado.
Apparently, the "new" story will tell what happens to Gabe after he rescues several people and realizes that they are a group of violent criminals who crashed his plane in a robbery gone wrong.
The 1993 feature film was nominated for three Oscars that year, all for its visual effects - the mountaineering scenes are dizzying. In addition, he was a box office success, grossing over 200 million dollars worldwide, a stratospheric value for the time.
Other names from the original cast - such as John Lithgow, Michael Rooker, Rex Linn, and Craig Fairbrass - have not yet been confirmed in the reboot.
