Sadie Sink, star of 'Stranger Things', has abandoned her long red hair for a radical cut that has surprised her fans a lot.
Sadie Sink is one of the most promising actresses of her generation and has conquered the public with her role as Max in 'Stranger Things'.
She also recently starred in Taylor Swift's short for her song 'All Too Well' where she demonstrated her flair for drama, and now she is preparing for another challenge: 'O'dessa', a rock opera musical for which she is already filming in Croatia.
But apparently, her role required saying goodbye to her long red hair, and Sadie has released a radical cut that has greatly impacted her fans, who wonder if it will not affect her character in 'Stranger Things'. Although the truth is that the Netflix series is on indefinite hiatus -like many others- because of the writers' strike.
The stylist of the famous, Tommy Buckett, has been in charge of the cut and has talked at length about this striking change of look.
"When I was doing it, I thought people were going to absolutely love me or hate me," she confesses to Vogue, also recounting that Sadie herself gave her references to '90s, androgynous fashion, and allusions to David Bowie and Mick Jagger.
"I really liked the idea of '90s-referencing Winona Ryder in the front, she's a long, cool pixie," reflects Buckett.
How did Sadie feel seeing her change? The stylist says that "as soon as we did it she was like, 'Oh my god, I feel like myself. I'm not collapsing from cutting everything, the hair grows,'" he recalls. He also assures that she has told him many times not to let anyone change the color because of her spectacular redhead "youYou will never get it again."
