Billionaire actress Anna Shay has died unexpectedly at the age of 62. This has been confirmed by PEOPLE this Monday by publishing a message from the family of the heiress whose fortune is estimated at around 600 million dollars.
"It pains us deeply to announce that Anna Shay, a loving mother, charismatic star grandmother, and our brightest ray of sunshine has passed away at the young age of 62 from a heart attack," she said in the message.
"Anna taught us many life lessons on how not to take things so personally and enjoy the good things in life. We will miss her impact on our lives but we will never forget it," the message ends.
Shay starred in the reality show Bling Empire (Netflix) which debuted in 2021 and quickly became a fan favorite.
In said show, one of her contestants stated that the actress was of Japanese and Russian origin and that she was "super rich".

Shay's net worth is around $600 million by some estimates. And although there was a rumor that said millions came from arms sales, she denied that version to PEOPLE.
According to NBC, the deceased's father was the founder of Pacific Architects and Engineers, a company that had offered defense services to the government since the 1960s.
