'Game of Thrones' quickly became a success, as has 'The House of the Dragon', the prequel focused on the Targaryen family 200 years before the events of the original series, which has followed in its footsteps by returning to conquering the fans and confirming the start of filming for season 2.
The universe of the franchise based on the novels by George R.R. Martin is still more alive than ever with new spin-offs on the way, including a sequel based on the character of Jon Snow who won the love of many fans of 'Game of Thrones' and that will allow him to meet, by the hand of Kit Harrington, the continuation of the 'heir to the iron throne' after the end of the series.
Jon was not the only one who aroused passion among the public, the 'mother of dragons', Daenerys Targaryen, wanted to conquer the iron throne and, although her end was quite tragic, she did manage to conquer the hearts of many followers who still want to return to see it on screen.
However, it seems that for the moment, Emilia Clarke will not become Daenerys again and she has confirmed it in an interview for Extra when she has been asked if she will appear in Jon Snow's sequel. She "I don't think so" and she added: "Kit, I love you. I'm going to see it for you or I will tell you that I have seen it."
Despite Daenerys' unfortunate ending in the series, which continues to be remembered to this day, it would be possible to see her again in a flashback, a dream, or a memory. In addition, Kit Harrington explained last December during the 'Game of Thrones convention that, in the spin-off of his character, Jon will spend a lot of time reflecting on and remembering his past, so the return of 'the Mother of Dragons' will not is impossible, but for now, it seems that we will have to wait. "I'm not going to show up, no, I don't think so… He hasn't called me… Dude, you're my neighbor, okay? And you killed me. Spoiler alert!" Emilia joked.
The actress has also acknowledged that she has not yet seen 'The House of the Dragon' because she finds it "very strange": "It's as if someone told you: 'Do you want to go back to your institute and see them do things that you did when you were in the school?' Do you know what I mean?" she mused. However, Clarke has confessed: "I love seeing my wig on everyone's head, it's beautiful."
