Jennifer Coolidge has been the undisputed star of 'The White Lotus', as well as the only character who has remained in both seasons of the anthology. Now the actress has revealed if she will return and what she would like to see happen to her husband, Greg. There will be spoilers ahead.
'The White Lotus' has been one of the most followed and commented series of the year with its hypnotic season 2. Fiction has returned to have the brilliant character of Jennifer Coolidge, Tanya, who has been the undisputed protagonist of the last few chapters.
Coolidge has spoken in a Variety 'Actors on Actors' with Jeremy Allen White, star of 'The Bear'. During their conversation they have inevitably talked about 'The White Lotus' and Tanya, and the actress has confirmed that she will not return in season 3, something that she could expect after her death although fans did not lose hope.
However, she is clear about where the story of Greg should continue, her husband who is the one who entrusts her death to the 'gays on the boat'.
"My hope for [actor] Jon Gries is that he hasn't finished off Greg. I hope evil Greg gets his comeuppance. I think he should, I don't know, end up in a meat grinder," Jennifer says amused.
"If Tanya could come back somehow, maybe she could come back in seagull form and gouge out Greg's eyes," the actress proposes.
About the scene of her on the boat where she ends up shooting all the gays to save herself, Coolidge assures that she will "never again" get on a boat.
"Everything felt very real. When you are on a ship in the middle of the ocean and there is no escape possible, what if your teammates hate you? They can just throw you away. Anyone can get rid of you on a ship," he says, wise words of survival.
