The director confessed about a movie that is based on real events

Released in 2004, (White Chicks) is a film directed by Keenen Ivory Wayans and starring his brothers Marlon and Shawn Wayans.

The film is a comedy that follows the adventure of two FBI agents who escort Brittany and Tiffany Wilson, a pair of wealthy sisters who get injured and the brothers must impersonate them by dressing up as blonde girls.

The 'undercover' agents go on an adventure within the sisters' social circle while investigating a series of kidnappings.

And where are the blondes? it did not receive positive reviews when it was released; however, it was a commercial success and became a landmark comedy film in the genre that stood the test of time as a major part of popular culture.

From the premiere of the film to the present, where are the blondes? It has served as a reference in numerous comedy products, it has highly remembered scenes and some of them even became memes.

Despite the popularity of the tape, few know that the characters are inspired by real-life people who were an icon of celebrities in the 90s and part of the 2000s.

In a June 2021 Instagram post, Marlon Wayans revealed that Paris and Nicky Hilton were the muses for creating the film.

The actor posted a photo with Paris Hilton in which he wrote that she was "the original white chick," telling the story of how her brother got the idea to create the characters.

He showed me a magazine cover with Paris Hilton and her sister and I said 'We should play girls like that'. I understood immediately. They were so big that they were a gateway to pop culture. We made that film with good intentions to celebrate a special time in all of our lives. So thank you Paris and Nikki for being muses. When we do White Chicks 2, we're going shopping," Marlon Wayans wrote on Instagram.

The Wayans brothers' characters have several similarities to the Hilton sisters, although they decided to change their last name to Wilson.

After Marlon Wayans revealed that the Hilton sisters were the inspiration behind the story, Nicky said in an interview that the first time he saw the brothers after the premiere they assured them that it was not about his life.

However, the sisters did not seem offended by the film, they declared themselves fans of the story and even expressed their intentions of participating in a second part.

I think imitation is the best form of flattery. I thought the movie was hilarious, just watching them play our inspirations. The movie was so cool and hilarious it was funny 2000s humor that made you laugh out loud. I always want to laugh at myself and have fun, so I didn't mind," Paris Hilton told the Magazine.
