Brooke Shields tells how she lost her vi--inity at the age of 22

This is the second memoir of hers. The first came to light when Brooke Shields was only 18 years old, in 1985. At that time the actress encouraged young people to preserve her virginity until marriage. But as she narrates now, she could not be consistent, since the model had her first relationship at age 22, 10 years before her marriage to tennis player Andre Agassi.

This is just one of the private details included in "There Was a little girl. The real story of my mother and Me", a book in which she also reveals the identity of the first person with whom she had a relationship. It was actor Dean Cain, who was also her classmate at Princeton.

Looking back on that moment and that relationship, Brooke writes that she was "so overwhelmed that I jumped out of bed. In fact, I fell and started running."

And she does not skimp when it comes to giving details. Thus, she recounts that she "was completely N- in the hallway, running as if she had stolen someone's wallet."

As she says, "Dean jumped up and ran after me to comfort me in his arm. He hugged me tight and asked where I was going. He was afraid I was going to get away from my mother."

Precisely her mother is a very important part of her, both in her life and in this new book. In it, she confesses that she was raised by her mother Teri to avoid any physical contact with men. "I think my mom wanted me to stay a virgin for as long as possible," she confesses.

She also says that she lived under a lot of pressure from her mother while she maintained her relationship with Dean Cain, who at that time was the protagonist of "Lois & Clark: The New Adventures of Superman".

In the book, she has no problem detailing the names and surnames of her subsequent relationships. her like this, she says that after separating from Dean she went out with Liam Neeson, John F. Kennedy Jr., and John Travolta. She even came to be associated with Michael Jackson, although she assures that she "did not want anything with him."

Her marriage to Agassi only lasted two years. Today, at 49, she has been married since 2001 to television writer Chris Henchy and has two daughters, Rowan and Grier.

In "There Was A Little Girl," out November 18, Brooke Shields also discusses her mother's battle with alcohol and the public's "misconception" that she was forced by her parent to accept roles she did not want.
