Quinnipiac University, in Connecticut, has refused to send its students to do internships in the David Letterman program.

David Letterman runs out of interns after his sc-ndal

After the sc@nd@l was uncovered a few weeks ago, the university is suspicious of the treatment that the scholarship holders could receive.

"We are going to closely monitor the internship program to make sure our interns are safe." That's how forceful those responsible for this university have been about allowing their students to do internships in the Letterman program.

It seems that this university has been put on guard after the sc@nd@l uncovered a few weeks ago about the millionaire blackmail -no less than two million dollars- in which Letterman has been involved. A member of the team discovered the extramarital affair that the presenter had with a co-worker and blackmailed Letterman to air it.

As soon as the news broke, the American showman publicly apologized for having had relations with members of his team and announced that he was going to try to solve all his problems to save his marriage.

However, the university officials do not give in and seem more concerned about the physical integrity of their scholarship recipients: "Due to recent circumstances, we will study the problem with those in charge of placing our scholarship recipients in the David Letterman program."
