Actress Linda Hamilton will reprise her role as Sarah Connor in Terminator: Dark Fate and has now spoken about the sequels.
Terminator is one of the great science fiction sagas in the history of cinema, but only the first two installments can be considered good. In fact, the new movie in the franchise will be a continuation of the second and will make it as if the other three had never existed. Linda Hamilton returns to the mythical role of Sarah Connor and comments on her opinion about the sequels that we have to get our minds off to see Dark Fate.
Linda Hamilton previously mentioned that she didn't enjoy the Terminator sequels and now she has expanded on her thoughts, saying:
“I hated that there weren't better characters, it's something I felt was missing with all three since I did Terminator 2. There was a lot of action and they made everything so much bigger, but there weren't any characters that you really cared about. And that obviously has to be the real thread that runs through all three of my films. You have to have characters that interest you or it's all just a wash."
It's something very common in Holywood movies today, every time there's a remake or second part of an old movie they just do more action, more explosions, and don't explore those elements that made the original great. We have seen it too many times.
As we have already mentioned, it will be a direct sequel to Terminator 2 and we must forget the events of Rise of the Machines (2003), Salvation (2009), and Genesis (2015). It seems that the disaster caused by Skynet has now been averted for the moment because a few years later, the machines will bring a murderer back to the present. But this time he will go after a young woman, to protect her they will send a half-human, half-machine cyborg who will have the support of Sarah Connor (Linda Hamilton), who has been preparing for this almost all her life.
