Megan Fox confesses that she collapsed and decided to stay away from Hollywood

Ten years ago, Megan Fox starred in Jennifer's Body, a horror film in which she played an evil cheerleader. Even though this should be another role in the actress's career, her participation in the film would have had terrible consequences from which the interpreter would not have yet recovered.

As Fox confessed during an interview with Entertainment Tonight, the fact that Jennifer's Body used a hypers- image of the interpreter as a claim, as Transformers already did, would have caused serious problems for the actress.

"It wasn't just one movie, it was every day of my life, all the time, with every project I worked on and with every producer," Fox explained. “It was a breaking point for me. I think I really had a psychological crisis where I didn't want to do anything."

The situation would have reached such a point that the actress would have decided to isolate herself from public life, refusing to appear in the media, galas, or even be photographed.

The interpreter stated that she was afraid of how the public would act when they saw her. “I was absolutely certain that they were going to mock me, spit on me, that someone was going to start yelling at me, that they were going to throw stones at me or push me simply for having left.” This sensation made Fox feel that he was going through "a very dark time."

According to the actress, although she tried to denounce her situation, the reaction of those she spoke to was: “Oh okay. We don't care, you deserve it." Fox has stated that she believes that her situation anticipated what later became known as #MeToo.

To aggravate the situation that the actress had to face, Fox acknowledged in a 2009 interview with Wonderland that she believed she had schizophrenia since she was little, even though she had never been diagnosed. In addition, she already confessed at that time that she had problems projecting her personality and her insecurity with her own image.
