She was there for 11 months and she tells of how they abused her mentally and physically, receiving beatings and severe punishment. She talked about everything in This is Paris, a documentary in which she recounts her worst nightmare.

"Talking about something so personal was and still is terrifying," she told the committee, noting that a traumatizing experience that still gives her nightmares today, 22 years later. "I wish I could say it was just a dream, but it's not," she notes.

That is why she has been in favor of a bill that regulates the so-called schools for adolescents with problems. "I can't go to sleep at night knowing that children are experiencing the same abuse that I and so many others go through, and neither should you," she has said. "This bill will definitely help a lot of kids, but there's obviously more work to be done and I'm not going to stop until change happens."

The origin of the nightmare

"I am a survivor of institutional abuse." Thus began her testimony. She then remembered how it all began. It was 23 years ago, then I was only 16 years old, and... "One night, two drivers wearing handcuffs woke me up and asked me if I chose the easy road or the hard road. They took me to the airport and separated me from everything and everyone I knew and loved.

That's how they brought me to the state of Utah," he says. She says her stay at the boarding school that it was terrible, and she reveals how she was abused and that they gave her medicine without having had a prior diagnosis that made her sleepy and dizzy. But the worst was the moment of the shower. "Every time I used the bathroom or showered, it was monitored. At 16, as a child, I felt her piercing eyes looking at my body. I was just a girl and I felt violated every day," Hilton condemns.

Locked up and isolated

Another of her dreaded torments was when she was locked up for no reason, and she describes the treatment of the center staff as sadistic and evil.

"That small room covered in scratch marks and stained with blood without a bathroom is one of the most vivid memories," she says, still terrified by what she suffered and what she saw: "Children were immobilized, beaten, thrown against the walls, strangled and regularly abused", serious accusations that have only one intent.

"I'm not telling this story to be sorry, but to illuminate a reality of what happened a long time ago and is still happening now. These people should be ashamed of themselves," she explained at the trial.

The center has barely spoken out because it now has other owners. They bought it in 2000 and say they know nothing of what happened in the years in which Paris Hilton was hospitalized. On her website, it is stated that her commitment is to "offer quality attention and care to young people with special and often complex needs, both emotionally, psychologically or behaviorally".

Hilton lives in love with Carter Reum, whom she met in 2020. And he is now her greatest support. They live a beautiful love story and have already talked about a wedding. So they may engage shortly. She also has the support and affection of the family, especially her sister Nicky. She's a celebrity all over the world, and she's lived the best of her partying years partying, drinking life in sips of champagne.

She was the life image of happiness, at least that's what she made us believe. She has always been told that she is so rich that she doesn't need to work. She is the eldest of four siblings. Her parents are actress Kathy Hilton and Richard Hilton, and her great-grandfather was the famous hotelier Conrad Hilton. Now she is the owner of the famous hotel chain that bears her last name.
