1. Tatiana Maslany and the many clones of Sarah Manning
The versatility of the Canadian Tatiana Maslany allowed her to win an Emmy thanks to her performance in the series Orphan Black. In this show, the actress plays Sarah Manning and multiple clones of her, each with a unique touch due to her different professions, styles, and mannerisms. In some scenes, you can see several of the clones interacting with each other. The artist does an amazing job.
2. Lisa Kudrow plays twin sisters
Lisa Kudrow played the crazy Phoebe from the series Friends and her twin sister, Ursula, for 8 episodes. Her appearance arose as a strategy to prevent the audience from mixing two characters, because Lisa played a clueless waitress in the series Crazy About You, and later she got the role of Phoebe. Both series were set in Manhattan and were also scheduled at successive times on NBC. Crazy About You aired at 8 p.m. m. and Friends, at 8:30 p.m. m. All of this could cause the public to get confused with the character of Phoebe, so the producers chose to include the waitress (who they would see more frequently in the other series) as her sister.
3. Garrett Dillahunt in Deadwood
Garrett Dillahunt's acting skills and the effect of makeup made it possible for this actor to have two different characters in the Deadwood series without much public notice. During the first season of the show that mixes historical events with fiction, Garrett played the murderer Jack McCall, while in the third season, she gave life to Francis Wolcott.
4. Ian Whyte plays unusual characters
Ian Whyte's height (2.16m) lends himself to playing large and unusual characters. 6. Graham McTavish played father and son
The actor Graham McTavish had two roles in Outlander, a program based on a saga of novels that mixes history and fiction. He played Dougal MacKenzie, war chief of the MacKenzie clan, and later his son William Buccleigh MacKenzie, who was the fruit of an illegitimate relationship between Dougal and the witch Geillis Duncan.
7. Tobias Menzies played two members of the same family
Continuing with Outlander, Tobias Menzies acted as Frank Randall, husband of Claire, the protagonist of the series. He also gave life to Jonathan Randall, one of his ancestors and the captain of a British Crown regiment in 1739. For this performance, Tobias was nominated for a Golden Globe in 2016 for best-supporting Actor.
