Emma Watson decided to launch herself as a businesswoman and develop a particular product.
Emma Watson rose to fame thanks to her role as Hermione Granger in the Harry Potter film saga. When she was chosen for her role, she was only nine years old, so her career and her success came at a very young age, making her a voice and a reference for the new generations.
With the passage of time and little by little detaching herself from the role of her sorceress, she became one of the highest-paid actresses in the world and an activist for women's rights. Furthermore, she was also the face of some of the most recognizable brands in the world.
But now, Emma Watson decided to start a new project on her own, and in partnership with her brother Alex. The actress began trying her hand at being an entrepreneur by launching her own brand of Gin, called Renais.
The product is made with recycled grape skins, extracted from the vineyards that her family has owned in Burgundy, France, for more than 30 years. The other ingredients are juniper, linden blossoms, and acacia honey, but it is also certified carbon neutral.
The truth is that Emma Watson is very committed to caring for the environment, and the development of this product does not stray from her vision. “Renais Gin is an ode to the sun-drenched vineyards of Chablis, where my family has been making wine for the past 30 years. Renais Gin is our love letter to Chablis; a carbon-neutral product, lovingly made from recycled wine grapes,” she recounted on her social media.
"It is a nod to our production process, recycling French wine grapes, but also as a continuation of my family's legacy, and a new interpretation of the traditions and rituals of a region," added Alex, the younger brother of the actress.
