Paulina Rubio has an eternal rivalry in the world of music.
Paulina Rubio is one of the most experienced artists in Mexico, not only in music but also as a television presenter and model. In the 80s she was one of the founding members of the Timbiriche band, of which Thalia was also a part years later, from there a great enmity arose between them.
Although the group helped both of them to launch their careers and be able to do work in music, acting, and modeling, it also made their egos grow, and that led them to confront each other.
In the years in which Paulina Rubio and Thalía were part of Timbiriche, they had several differences, everything got to the point that they staged a strong fight on stage which meant a real sc@ndal at that time.
It all started when the group was invited to participate in the musical Grease to give the band notoriety. At that time, Sasha Sokol, one of the main voices of the band, played the role of Sandy, the protagonist, and Paulina Rubio played the role of her best friend, Licha.
In the group of dancers for the musical was a young woman named Thalía Sodi, who when Sasha Sokol left the band, was the one who played the leading role. That aroused the jealousy of Paulina Rubio, who did not tolerate that they give the role to a stranger and not to her, who was the other main voice of Timbiriche.
Thus, a certain tension was generated between the two to the point that Rubio could not even see the new member of her group. And that was demonstrated in 1988, at a show in the town of Toluca, when Paulina Rubio disconnected Thalia's microphone. There she tries to take the microphone from her partner, she starts a fight and ends up hitting her mouth.
But the thing did not end there, because angry at what was happening, Thalía grabbed her colleague by the hair and they began to shake. It all ended when they decided to remove them both from the stage, and the public was surprised by what was happening. As expected, the two left the group and began their respective careers.
In the 90s Timbiriche met again but Thalía did not want to be part of it since she was going to be her enemy. Since then, whenever she could, Paulina Rubio has thrown a bad wave at her colleague through the press and made it clear that she is someone she cannot even see.
