"Have I done nothing to promote the cause from my position? I guess I'm not loud enough," said the "Game of Thrones" actor Peter Dinklage.
Peter Dinklage has exploded against the new version of Snow White and the seven dwarfs that Disney is preparing. The North American actor has shown his discontent with the new remake of the study, which for him should not be carried out due to the archaic representation of the characters.
Dinklage spoke about the matter in a recent interview, where he also spoke about the choice of Rachel Zegler (West Side Story) as the new protagonist of this live action. "I was a little surprised that they were so proud to cast a Latina actress as Blancanieves. You're still telling the story of Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs. Look back and see what you're doing. It doesn't make sense."
The actor has not hesitated to charge against this new remake created by the Mickey Mouse House, which he criticizes from his own perspective as affected by achondroplasia. "You're progressive in a way and you're still making that damn story about seven dwarfs living together in a cave, what the hell are you doing? Haven't I done anything to further the cause from my position? I guess I'm not loud enough."
A matter on which it seems that many people have not reflected and that greatly angers the actor. "Really, I mean this with all the love and respect to the actress and all the people who thought they were doing the right thing with this movie. But I'm kind of like, what are you doing?"
Despite everything, the actor who recently premiered the new version of Cyrano directed by Joe Wright (The Darkest Hour) does not close doors before a revision of the story. "If you decide to tell the Snow White story with the most screwed-up, forward-thinking twist. Let's do it. I'm in."
