Details of the incident that occurred aboard the plane in 2016 that precipitated Jolie's divorce request recently emerged. Now, while the legal dispute continues over the warehouse they shared in France, the actress filed a new lawsuit in which new details of the incident on board the plane were revealed.

According to Jolie's lawyer, the couple began an argument in the airplane bathroom when the actor accused her of having "differential treatment" toward their children.
“Pitt grabbed Jolie by her head and shook her off of her, and then grabbed her by her shoulders and shook her again before pushing her against the bathroom wall,” the countersuit says. “Pitt then hit the roof of the plane several times, causing Jolie to leave the bathroom.”
The lawsuit also mentions that Pitt tried to attack one of his children after he came to Jolie's defense.
"In an incident where one of the children came to Jolie's defense, Pitt aggressively moved towards his own son. Jolie swiftly intervened, restraining him from behind. In his attempt to free himself from Jolie's grasp, Pitt thrust himself backward into the plane seats, causing injuries to Jolie's back and elbow. The children rushed in, demonstrating remarkable bravery as they attempted to shield one another from harm. Regrettably, Pitt went on to physically assault one child by strangling them and another by delivering a punch to the face. Several children pleaded with Pitt to cease his actions, instilling fear in everyone present, with many shedding tears," the account detailed.
As she had previously revealed, once the plane landed, Jolie organized separate transportation to take her children to a hotel.
