Tallulah Willis Reflects on Challenging Times During Demi Moore's Marriage to Ashton Kutcher
During the premiere of Stars on Mars, 29-year-old Tallulah Willis candidly shared her experiences growing up with her "extremely famous parents" when asked by Ronda Rousey. The fashion designer, whose father is Bruce Willis, opened up about the period when her mother, Demi Moore, was married to Ashton Kutcher, which proved to be a difficult time.
Tallulah admitted that she didn't fully grasp the extent of her family's fame until Moore's relationship with Kutcher became public. She recounted the year 2003 when her mom started dating Ashton and how it marked a moment when many things were changing, deeply impacting her emotionally. She recalled, "It was that moment, a lot of things were happening, and I really got inside myself. That sent me into a complete dumpster fire. It was really difficult, and I’m still unpacking."
However, Tallulah emphasized that she has since found a way to move past those challenging times and now holds nothing but love for herself and her family.
Tallulah, the daughter of Bruce Willis and Demi Moore, was just 8 years old when her mother married Ashton Kutcher, who was 25 at the time, while Moore was 40. Their marriage lasted for six years, and Kutcher has spoken publicly about his relationship with Tallulah and her sisters, Rumer Willis and Scout Willis, stating his commitment to staying connected with them, respecting and supporting them.
Since his divorce from Moore in 2011, Ashton Kutcher has gone on to marry Mila Kunis, with whom he shares two children. On the other hand, Bruce Willis has remarried, tying the knot with Emma Heming in 2009, and the couple has two daughters. Despite the changes in their personal lives, both Bruce and Demi have remained close and dedicated to their children, with Demi receiving support from Bruce amid her recent diagnosis of frontotemporal dementia.
As for Moore's relationship with Ashton Kutcher, it has had its ups and downs. While they maintain a friendly connection, Kutcher did express some initial frustration about Moore's 2019 memoir release in an Esquire interview.
