Nicole Kidman surprised Hugh Jackman during an auction at the end of a Broadway production, by offering $100,000 for the actor's hat to benefit an organization that supports people with Human Immunodeficiency Virus (HIV/AIDS).
The moment was captured on video by attendees, who had gathered to see Jackman star in the musical "The Music Man" on Broadway.
At the end of the show, Hugh Jackman began with a small auction for the hat he wore on stage. As a result, he listened to the proposals, until a woman shouted that she was offering 100 thousand dollars for the piece.
During the clip, broadcast by the actor, Jackman's surprised face could be seen, when looking for the buyer was excited to see that it was none other than Nicole Kidman.
Jackman and the cast of the show jumped for joy, and then Kidman approached Jackman to receive the ovation and thanks for the donation.
"I love you and I love Broadway. And I love what you do at Broadway Cares. But I also want to say that the show was extraordinary. Thank you," the Oscar-winning actress said as she was handed a microphone.
Before returning to her seat, Kidman modeled the hat in front of the audience, who applauded her donation.

Through his social networks, Hugh Jackman thanked the Hollywood actress for the gesture with a message.
"The generosity that emanates from Nicole Kidman leaves me speechless! You are fabulous. Thank you for your friendship and support!" wrote the Greatest Showman actor.
The donation will be given to the Broadway Cares organization which is responsible for providing meals and medical care to people in need.
Nicole Kidman also made some stories on Instagram to recognize Jackman's work.
"Dear Hugh, to my friend of 30 years. Back to you, such a generous and beautiful human, it was a brilliant night at the theater and it was an honor to be able to donate to Broadway Cares! Congratulations to the talented cast," the actress posted.
