The Famous Musicians who died on stage

There are times when death is different for some people and can occur in different ways, as has happened to some music stars, who gave their all on stage and left never to return.

Les Harvey

The Famous Musicians who died on stage

Scottish guitarist who was part of several bands from the same country, but achieved his greatest recognition with Stone the Crows. Fate took a surprising leap on May 3, 1972, when Les and his group were giving a concert—at the Top Rank Ballroom—in Swansea, Wales. In that presentation, the guitarist touched, with wet hands, a poorly connected microphone and died from electrocution. Shortly after, Stone the Crows disbanded due to the terrible loss of their partner.

Zeki Muren

Turkish singer, songwriter, and actor, who was recognized for his forceful voice and precise articulation when singing. He became very popular during the 60s and 70s because many of his songs were spread in Greece, the United States, Germany, Iran, and many other countries. Although Müren was homos- and often wore feminine dresses, large rings, and a lot of makeup, he was accepted in Turkish society. His charisma and fame seemed to be unstoppable until in September 1996, he had a heart attack while singing on a live television show. His death caused great public unrest and depression for years, so the Zeki Müren Art Museum was later founded.

Carlos Rivolta

Argentine bassist for the Catalan band Dusminguet, who died in April 2002 during their performance at the 'Kronos Bar' in Guadalajara, Mexico. In the last song of the show, while the drummer was performing a solo, Carlos Rivolta took a seat on the metal stairs and received an electric shock due to his excess sweat and facility failures. The accordionist and singer, Joan Garriga, tried to move his partner's body away from the stairs but it was too late and, in front of 200 people, Rivolta left this world at 34 years of age.

Dimebag Darrell

American guitarist and composer who is recognized for having been the founder of two notable groove metal bands: Pantera and Damageplan. He was rated by Rolling Stone Magazine as one of the top 100 guitarists, and by Metal Hammer magazine as 'number one'. Unexpectedly, in December 2008 in Ohio, “the bony one took him” when the musician, at 38 years of age, was shot twice in the head by an ex-marine named Nathan Gale.

Indonesian pop singer who was labeled as a Dangdut artist, an Indonesian musical genre that involves celebrities using tricks in their act to stand out from the rest; Bule used to present his concerts using snakes and other types of reptiles. On April 3, 2016, the Indonesian artist was bitten on her thigh by a king cobra—the most venomous species—after accidentally resting her knee on it. They immediately went to treat her and offer her the antidote, however, she denied their help and continued presenting her. Irma Bule, after 45 minutes, began to vomit and shortly after fainted, and subsequently died at 29.
