The who company hired Scarlett Johansson to debut on TV

Over time and the passing of the years, Scarlett Johansson established herself as one of the most recognized actresses in the film industry. At only 37 years old, the artist's journey is enormous and she has undoubtedly earned a place of full respect from her colleagues, based on her dozens of works.

Born in Manhattan on November 22, 1984, Johansson comes from a family linked to the media and the artistic side since her mother Melanie was a producer, her grandfather was a screenwriter and director, and her brothers also work in the cinema. That is why it is not surprising that she took her first steps at a very early age.

At just 9 years old, Scarlett began working in the field, after her mother began taking her to auditions. However, without a doubt, beyond her extensive career throughout the world, she is recognized for the role of Black Widow in the Marvel franchise, without a doubt her definitive leap to stardom.

Marriage Story, Lucy, Ghost in the Shell, Under the Skin, and Until the Body Holds are some of the films in which the actress demonstrates her versatility, but of course her main highlight is as part of the Avengers team.

As part of her constant reinvention and knowing that there are many other projects ahead, Scarlett has now taken an important step in her career and will land in TV series with the Just Cause project, the new Prime Video strip. It is produced by both Amazon Studios, in collaboration with the actress's production company, These Pictures, and Warner Bros.

Just Cause is a suspense drama that follows Madison Cowart, also known as Madi. She is a reporter for a Florida newspaper who is sent to cover the last days of a death row inmate. The miniseries is based on John Katzenbach's 1992 novel of the same name.

As a curious fact, the story of Just Cause already had a film version in 1995 with Scarlett being part of the cast of the film. She was 10 years old at the time and it was the second job of her career, remembering that a year before she had made her debut in North (1994). Today this same plot and the actress join paths again, although now with her completely consecrated and within the protagonists.

For this television version, Johansson will also have influence behind the cameras as an executive producer, so she will be in charge of several decisions. The series still does not have a release date, although they have already confirmed that it is being put together to start filming. The important thing about this is that for Scarlett it will be her television debut, after decades of directing different productions on the big screen.
