Tom Cruise and Christopher McQuarrie were forced to beef up their security over death threats

Tom Cruise, who has already submitted to all the dangers to which the cinema has challenged him and now plans to shoot scenes in outer space itself, finds himself involved in a conflict that he has not yet been able to resolve because it is legal and also includes Christopher McQuarrie, the director of the Mission Impossible saga, since they were denounced by a former employee of the franchise and as time goes by everything gets even more complicated.

The Hollywood superstar and her head director Christopher McQuarrie have hired top-level security and bodyguards after a former employee launched a legal battle over being fired from his productions. According to Vanity Fair magazine, the dispute began after a stunt producer was told his services were no longer required, prompting protests from the producer and fears of further reprisals from within the production.

Now, sources say that both Tom Cruise and Christopher McQuarrie hired the services of more security personnel to protect their integrity because things have become complicated. For its part, The Sun newspaper claimed that an informant said that things for the actor became somewhat unpleasant, to the point that he received death threats.

"On the set, the focus is primarily on safeguarding against potential hazards and risks. Now, a similar dynamic is unfolding behind the scenes. Tom Cruise is accustomed to having security teams accompanying him due to his high-profile status. However, for Chris, this is an entirely novel experience. The element of risk is hardly a concern," revealed a source with close ties to the actor.

According to reports, the former production employee began a legal dispute against Tom Cruise, Christopher McQuarrie, and Paramount Studios, after being hired to scout locations to film various stunts, which included a major train accident scene, although in the end, his plans were never implemented in the films.

The former employee has since made claims about controversial links between the Russian oligarchs who finance Tom's films and has even suggested that the FBI is investigating Paramount over the money trail. However, the US security service has not confirmed any investigation.
