The actress told her therapist that the actor harassed her and dressed up as Johnny Depp to get her fired from Aquaman 2. She also accused him of going to work drunk.
Actress Amber Heard and actor Jason Momoa had a very bad relationship on the set of Aquaman 2. As Heard told her therapist, Momoa, 44, was drunk on set and harassed her so she would be fired from the movie.
"Jason said he wanted me fired. Jason was drunk and late. He dressed like Johnny Depp to harass me. He has all the rings too," Heard added according to the transcript of her therapist's notes accessed by Variety.
A DC spokesperson refuted Heard's account, saying: "Jason Momoa professionally conducted himself at all times on the set of Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom."
Heard, 37, was at risk of being fired from the film, until her then-boyfriend, Elon Musk, allegedly wrote a threatening letter to Warner Bros. to keep the actress from being fired.
The threat worked because the Hollywood studio “relented” and ultimately “moved forward” with Heard. The SpaceX owner, 52, and Heard dated on and off from 2016 to 2018. The actress had previously been married to Depp from 2015 to 2017.
"They gave me a script and then they gave me new versions of the script that had removed scenes that had action... and basically took away a lot of my role," Heard claimed in court during her trial against Johnny Depp.
However, DC boss Walter Hamada disputed Heard's account, insisting that the downplaying of her role had nothing to do with Depp. "I think they made that relationship work in the first movie, but there was concern that it took a lot of effort to get there and that it would be better if we found someone with more natural chemistry with Jason Momoa," the executive explained.
