David Beckham recently released a documentary about his life on Netflix, in which he, along with his wife Victoria Beckham, openly discussed various aspects of their journey.
Among the topics that garnered significant attention was the alleged infidelity involving the former Real Madrid player and his former assistant, Dutch-born Madrid native, Rebecca Loos.
In the documentary series, David Beckham vehemently refuted the allegations, stating that it was all a fabricated attempt to dismantle his family and exploit the ensuing media frenzy. He expressed the challenges they faced during that period, remarking, "Some of the stories were horrible. Those were difficult to process. It was the first time Victoria and I were under that pressure in our marriage."
Rebecca Loos has now responded to David Beckham's statements in the Netflix series, asserting that he is portraying himself as the victim and making her appear as a dishonest fabricator. She declared, "I understand he needs to protect his image, but by presenting himself as the victim, it implies that I am a liar, that I concocted these stories. It's all about 'poor me.' He needs to take responsibility."
She further emphasized the authenticity of the entire ordeal, stating, "Yes, that whole story was terrible, but it was real. In his documentary, he refers to this episode as part of his private life, concluding it. However, safeguarding one's private life is one thing, but deceiving public opinion is quite another," as she continued to share her perspective.
"I also have a family, children who can use Google and access these documentaries. I want them to know that their mother was courageous in standing up for the truth," concluded Rebecca Loos, who is presently married to a Norwegian doctor and is the mother of two children.
The Beckham family has yet to respond to Rebecca Loos' statements, maintaining silence on the matter for the time being. Meanwhile, the documentary remains one of the most-watched pieces of content on the Netflix platform.
