Jennifer Love Hewitt celebrated her 44th birthday by sharing a photo of her without makeup and a heartfelt message that came directly from her heart.
Hewitt opened up about the blessings present in her life, but also about the difficulties she faces when she realizes the passage of time.
The Lost Souls star woke up at four in the morning and she posted a photo of herself with her natural face, showing off wonderful skin. Along with the image, the famous Ella left a message in which she expressed how she “felt deeply grateful, blessed and happy,” but she also “sometimes insecure” about the topic of aging.
The actress also dared to quote her late mother, Patricia, saying: ''Thank you, mom, for giving me life. I miss you so much".
The mother of three was full of praise for her “incredible babies” and her husband, writing: “To the most handsome and impressive man.”
The proud mom went on to share that her 7-year-old son, Atticus, “got up really early” to sing her Happy Birthday, which made her heart melt.
She concluded her heartfelt message by wishing her 1.3 million Instagram followers a “great day.”
This is not the first time Hewitt has addressed the topic of aging. Last year she posted another photo without makeup or filters, in which she wrote about aging in the eyes of the public.
Along with the photo, she shared her heartfelt thoughts, saying, “Getting older is weird.”
She then addressed her fans, for whom she is grateful, and noted, “Growing up with you for 33 years has been incredible.”
The actress also admitted that she uses filters on some of the photos of her on social media. “They're really fun, but they can also be really hard because you can forget to feel good about your real face,” she explained.
Hewitt concluded, “Maybe she just needs to get better at balance,” referring to her use of filters.
And some time ago, Hewitt decided to step away from social media completely for a short period.
In fact, in 2021, when, at the age of 42, she welcomed her third child, she shared that she was going to take a two-week break from social media to ''reset'' and be more “active”.
The devoted mom revealed that she was planning to focus more on “the workouts, the breathing, the manifestation, the time with my kids and my husband.” She also explained that social media made her “feel bad sometimes” by making her feel like “she wasn't enough” or that she wasn't “doing enough.”
