This dynamic changed with "Babylon," a movie helmed by Damien Chazelle. In this project, they not only shared the screen but also a passionate kiss. Interestingly, this kiss wasn't originally part of the script, and it was something Margot had secretly yearned for over the years.
The actress, known for her portrayal of Harley Quinn, candidly disclosed during an interview with "E! News" that she put some pressure on the director to include a kissing scene with Brad Pitt. Her reasoning was straightforward – she didn't want to let the opportunity to kiss such a renowned actor slip through her fingers.
She explained, "It wasn't in the script. But I thought, 'When else will I get the chance to kiss Brad Pitt? I'm going to try.'" Margot recounted how she pitched the idea to the director, Damien Chazelle: "I said to the director, 'Damien, I think Nellie would go up and kiss Jack.' And Damien said, 'Well, she might...wait, wait. You just want to kiss Brad.'"
Initially, the notion seemed somewhat unconventional, but Margot's genuine enthusiasm ultimately convinced the director. She proudly declared, "Sue me, but this opportunity may never come again." In doing so, she fulfilled the dreams of countless admirers around the globe.
