Margot Robbie reveals more details about what it was like to bring Barbie, the most famous doll in the world, to life.
In an interview for Vogue she shared a couple of names including Anne Hathaway and Gal Gadot, who were able to personify the iconic blonde.
Margot Robbie has shared much more about what her experience was like giving life to the most popular blonde in the world. Although she is considered the perfect actress to bring Barbie to life, she imagined someone else for the popular character.

Margot Robbie was never a fan of Barbie, she shared it in an interview conducted by Abby Aguirre for Vogue. The actress mentioned that she spent her childhood playing outdoors, making dirt pies, playing with trucks and especially building forts in her native Dalby, Australia. However, her cousin, who she used to play with, did have a lot of Barbies and they eventually played with the dolls.
Anne Hathaway was considered to play 'Barbie'
In the film 'Barbie', Margot not only brings the character to life, but she is also a producer of the film, but the truth is that when contemplating the project she did not imagine that she would end up taking the role. The film had several attempts before finalizing production, contemplating actresses such as Amy Schumer and Anne Hathaway as Barbie, however for different reasons they never happened.
Gal Gadot is 'Barbie' to Margot Robbie
Likewise, Margot Robbie shared that the first actress she thought of to give life to the most famous doll in the world was Gal Gadot since “Gal Gadot is the energy of Barbie.”
When asked what exactly Barbie energy is, Margot replied: “Because Gal Gadot is so incredibly beautiful, but you don't hate her for being so beautiful because she's so genuinely sincere, and she's so enthusiastically kind, that she's just before being something stupid.” However, Gal Gadot could not collaborate because she had other projects coming up.
