Natalie Portman recalled an uncomfortable experience with a film producer

Natalie Portman revealed an uncomfortable situation that she experienced with a Hollywood producer a few years ago. She revealed her story to the public during her participation at the Vulture Festival in Los Angeles.

According to the actress, a producer (whom she kept anonymous) invited her to go on a private plane with him and her team to a place where she also had to go. She accepted, believing that she would be with that entire group of people.

“I showed up and it was just the two of us and they had prepared a bed for us on the plane,” she revealed, very angry. She confessed that the story did not go any further, since she made her position on the event clear.

She emphasized, "I expressed my discomfort, and he did respect my boundaries, but it was still an unacceptable and manipulative situation that left me feeling frightened."

Natalie Portman also shared her thoughts on the pervasive issue of harassment within the film industry. "Many individuals have been aware of it for a significant period, but there are instances we tolerated simply because we became numb to them. There were numerous things we accepted as part of our reality until just a month ago," the actress concluded.
