Amidst the grief of her partner's passing, she has also found herself embroiled in controversy regarding the 2009 film "An Impossible Dream," in which she starred. The movie was based on the life of Michael Oher, a prominent athlete, for which she received an Academy Award.

After learning about the true story of the athlete, demands have arisen for Sandra to return her Oscar, given discrepancies between the film's portrayal and Oher's account. Michael Oher contended that the family who took him in never formally adopted him and allegedly exploited his success as a player. These revelations, which were not accurately depicted in the film, prompted criticism directed at the actress, despite her having no connection to the discrepancies.

In the midst of grappling with Bryan's loss and the intense scrutiny surrounding the film, sources close to the renowned actress express deep concern, fearing that she may be at a breaking point.

RadarOnline reported that Bullock has been profoundly affected by calls for the return of her Oscar, prompted by Michael Oher's startling disclosures last month. Oher, who rose to NFL stardom after a challenging upbringing, maintained that his adoptive parents, Sean and Leigh Anne Tuohy (portrayed by Bullock in the film), had exploited him through a legal guardianship, diverting a substantial share of the profits generated by the successful movie.

Although it appeared Sandra was the target of these allegations, Oher himself came to her defense, emphasizing her brilliant performance and urging that she be absolved of any connection to the issue. He stated, "She gave a brilliant performance. And that shouldn't be clouded by something that had nothing to do with her. I wish they would leave her alone because... She's going through her own stuff right now, you know with the love she just lost. You know, she suffered a great loss."

Despite Oher's support, sources indicate that the situation has been overwhelming for Bullock, as the challenges have seemingly compounded during this already trying period. One insider conveyed, "It's just one heartbreak piled on top of another. She has always been tough, and her coping mechanisms have helped her get through tough times, but she is at the end of her rope."
