The 64-year-old actor suffered an unforeseen event while he was in Uzbekistan to participate in an important festival.
Actor Kevin Spacey suffered a major health scare while he was in Uzbekistan to attend the Film Festival that was being held in that country.
The 64-year-old performer was rushed to the hospital after experiencing numbness in one of his arms and fearing a heart attack. To clear up any doubt about his health, the House of Cards star underwent an MRI.
Finally, Spacey received the all-clear from the doctors and was able to leave the hospital in time to participate in the 15th edition of the Tashkent International Film Festival, which had him as a guest star.
That same night, the American Beauty actor was seen on stage where he participated in a special panel and received questions from the audience. There, Spacey was consulted about his state of health and assured that he was normal.
"It really made me take a moment and think about how fragile life is, for all of us," the actor reflected to those present who were participating in the contest. He also explained that although he did not give much importance to that numbness that he had felt earlier, his team advised him to see a professional to rule out any type of serious condition.
"I spent the afternoon there undergoing a variety of tests. The staff took care of me and even gave me an MRI," the Oscar winner revealed. "Everything turned out to be completely normal and I'm grateful that it's nothing more serious," he concluded.
During his time at the festival, Kevin Spacey referred to his professional future. There he announced his soon return to the screen and assured that "the best roles are yet to come."
